best of North Carolina golf. Designed by Reid Horne; opened in 2001. Sapphire National Golf Club
The 18-hole course at Sapphire National Golf Club features 6,147
yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70. Designed by Ron Garl; opened in 1982. Private CoursesBear Lake Golf Club The Bear Lake Golf Club by Nicklaus Design® is
a 9 hole, par 29, 1,932 yard course that sits at an elevation of

The 18-hole course at Burlingame at Sapphire Lakes features 6,640

Jackson and John LaFoy, ASGCA, it opened in 1985. Recently renamed,
this country club was previously known as Sapphire Lakes Country
Club. Country Club of Sapphire Valley
The 18-hole course at the Country Club of Sapphire Valley features
6,859 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Designed
by George W. Cobb, ASGCA, it opened in 1956. Cullasaja Club
The 18-hole course at Cullasaja Club features 6,651 yards of golf
from the longest tees for a par of 72. Designed by Arnold Palmer,
the course opened in 1989. Highlands Country Club
The 18-hole course at Highlands Country Club features 6,255 yards of

Pritchard, the course opened in 1928. Highlands Falls Country Club

Fazio, ASGCA, it opened in 2006. Old Edwards Club at Highlands Cove
Designed by Tom Jackson, this 18-hole course underwent extensive
renovations under new ownership in early 2009. Trillium Links
The 18-hole course at Trillium Links features 6,505 yards of golf
from the longest tees for a par of 71. Designed by Morris Hatalsky,
it opened in 1998. Wade Hampton Golf Club
The 18-hole course at Wade Hampton Golf Club features 7,184 yards of
golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Designed by Tom Fazio,
ASGCA, the course opened in 1987. Wildcat Cliffs Country Club
The 18-hole course at Wildcat Cliffs Country Club features 6,493
yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Designed by
George Cobb, the course opened in 1961.
