Elliott Wright brings something unique to Highlands-Cashiers real estate: a decade of luxury hospitality expertise, hands-on property management experience, and the practical knowledge of someone who recently bought and renovated mountain properties himself.

Licensed in South Carolina for a decade, Elliott managed several hundred single-family rental units in Charleston's historic district before transitioning to hospitality. At Charleston's Wentworth Mansion and Washington's prestigious Hay-Adams Hotel, he rose to director of rooms, managing a team of 70 while serving accomplished clientele.

"I've always approached my work with a sense of ownership," Elliott explains. "My work is very much a reflection of myself."

Elliott and his partner, John, discovered Cashiers in 2021, purchasing and renovating a cabin before making the full-time move in July 2024. Their hands-on renovation experience — first with a general contractor, now tackling DIY projects — provides practical insights into mountain properties and local contractors.

Active in the community as members of Friends of Lake Glenville and the Cashiers Historical Society, Elliott and John have embraced mountain life with their golden mountain doodle, Brier.

"Dedication is my credo," Elliott says. This philosophy, combined with his hospitality-trained attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm for mountain living, makes him a dedicated advocate for clients.
