In 1994, Dan was able to realize his lifelong dream when he set down roots on a mountaintop farm near Cashiers. An advocate for animals and the environment, he has been deeply involved in his community, previously serving on the board of the Cashiers-Highlands Humane Society and the Jackson-Macon Conservation Alliance, and supports the Highlands-Cashiers Land Trust, American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, and the Nature Conservancy, as well as local first responder organizations and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Always seeking new ways to better himself in the industry he loves, Dan is currently serving on the Highlands-Cashiers Board of Realtors and is a member of the North Carolina Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. He brings nearly three decades of experience with local builders, designers, contractors, lawyers, fellow brokers, and business owners together for a seamless real estate experience. He brings a fresh approach and genuine enthusiasm about our area to each new client he serves. When Dan is not helping other families realize their dreams of living in NC's Blue Ridge Mountains, he spends much of his time with his own family, friends, and three rescue dogs, and can be found enjoying a relaxing day at the lake, hiking, or biking local trails, gardening, foraging, or cultivating his farm. Dan is a respected member of the Plateau community and a welcome member of the Silver Creek Real Estate Group team.
