Pittsburgh-born and raised in central North Carolina, Nora Kelly has been a longtime lover of vacationing in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Longing for better views and cooler temperatures on a regular basis, she took a chance, packed it up, grabbed her teenage son, and relocated from Cary, NC to a place recommended by a former classmate, landing in the Cashiers-Highlands area over the summer of 2020.

Employed remotely as a Global Project Manager in Market Research, she spent much of her spare time in an administrative role at Silver Creek Real Estate Group. After settling in and falling in love with both the tranquility a mountain lifestyle affords and the local hospitality, she was hooked. Eager to share the majesty and magnificence of the Plateau with others seeking it, she decided to further delve into the Real Estate industry, earning her license in February 2022.

A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, where she served as an Aerial Navigator, Nora’s commitment to excellence and eye for detail help her to support her team at Silver Creek in its pursuit of “Building Relationships, Delivering Dreams.” A supporter of the arts, she’s enjoyed volunteering with local theatre groups and seeing the magic they create on a stage. As an avid believer in nature therapy and lover of wildlife, she revels in spending time cultivating a small farm, raising chickens, and exploring the abundance of outdoor excursion opportunities around her, whether on her own or with her son, her other half, and their two rescue dogs.
