Dan has been my RE agent for acquiring several properties in the Cashiers NC area. He is extremely knowledgeable about inventory, pricing and finding very good value. More important for me, he is very honest when it comes to buying and selling real estate. If its not a good deal he will tell you like it is. Dan is a true professional. He was great about keeping us posted on showings and feedback from those showings, and helped when we needed to have things done at the home by recommending a good handyman (it is a vacation home so we were not there much of the time.) When we received an offer, he was very professional and helped greatly with the negotiation process from beginning to end and all the way through the closing. I never write reviews online, but Dan Allen made me want to. In a nutshell, he's great; a real professional and an all-round good guy. 

My husband and I were looking into houses in NC and Dan would drive us every weekend, in the rain, to show us properties. He'd never skip a house he thought we wouldn't be interested in. He was always considerate of the fact that I had two dogs. And his general demeanor is that of a man who you can trust and who is very, very good at his job. 

We could not be more happy with our experience and Dan Allen is one of the reasons why.

I would give Dan 10 stars if I could! He could not have been more helpful and pleasant, and his service and willingness to help continues. He TRULY went above and beyond what I would have expected from a realtor. He's incredibly knowledgable and dedicated to his work and doing the very best job possible for his client. I will not hesitate to use him again.

We had a very positive real estate experience than while working with Dan Allen. He is thorough, patient (extremely patient!!), bright, knowledgeable about the area, and it doesn't hurt that he has a dry sense of humor that diffuses the most frustrating aspects of a real estate search.
