Greycliff is a picturesque gated community located on the west side of Lake Glenville, where Mill Creek Falls cascades into the lake. The Holden ancestors acquired this land in the original Land Grants of the early 1800s. Until the construction of Lake Glenville in 1940, these lands were hunted and farmed by the family. Some of these original lands are now under the waters of Lake Glenville and some are still farmed by the Holden family. However, the area now known as Holden's Subdivision is a smattering of lakefront, lake view, and wooded lots.
