From trail planning and navigation to conservation ethics and backcountry storytelling, this gathering equips you to explore with intention.

Jacob "Val" Myers
MOUNTAIN ATHLETE & CONSERVATIONIST
Jacob is a mountain athlete and conservationist from the Southern Appalachians. From his teen years, he has been deeply involved in protecting the local environment through wildlife tracking, trail maintenance, and hands-on work across the Plateau. He has contributed to Friends of Panthertown and other conservation initiatives, combining his passion for the mountains with practical stewardship. Jacob’s love of outdoor adventure and dedication to the land continues to inspire his work and storytelling.
