We worked with Chuck Self to help find us a second home in the Cashiers/Sapphire area of NC. Chuck and his assistant, Riva Smith, were exceptional. He was very easy to contact, he always responded promptly and, most importantly, he found us exactly what we wanted! It took a few weekend excursions from our home in Birmingham, AL, but it was well worth the trips and the mountain house sightseeing excursions. We love our new home in the area. The house, the view, the location are perfect, exactly what we wanted. The process was made very easy by Chuck and Riva. On top of all that, Chuck is a very friendly person and it was very comfortable spending the time with him while we were house hunting. After we closed on the house, a process he also made very easy for us, he and Riva have stayed in close contact with us and are still helping us get to know the area, finding restaurants and resources in the area we may need intermittently. Chuck is an experienced, professional individual. He is great when buying or selling. I will definitely use Chuck again in the future. He is always available and is quick to communicate. Julia Banner is such a gem! From the moment we met her she treated us like family. She is warm and friendly yet highly professional. She went above and beyond to make our home-buying experience a pleasant one. She spent the entire day driving us around town showing us every home we asked to see. She never made us feel rushed and was always patient with us. She is very knowledgeable about the area and showed us a wide range of homes to choose from. Once we made a decision she was quick to make the sale and ensured that the escrow process was quick and easy. We have worked with Debby Hall for over 20 years using her services as an interior designer for 6 homes including new construction, remodels and general design work. She helped us to find the first home we had in Highlands, looking at homes and giving invaluable input on the potential a home offered or lacked. With her guidance we chose a home that we enjoyed for many years. 

This year we decided to look for a larger home, and we knew exactly who to use as our real estate agent. Debby had shifted to a career in real estate in the Highlands/Cashiers area and we knew she had the edge we were looking for and would be the perfect fit for our search. Her keen eye and ability to help us visualize possibilities, along with knowledge about construction and interior design, could probably go unsaid given her background in design. What you wouldn’t know is that she is very skilled at listening, observing, and interpreting both the spoken word and visual reactions. For all of these reasons, she was extraordinarily valuable during our recent home purchase. Her warm personality makes her easy to work with and she will keep hunting until you find the home that is right for you.

Katie Adams Nicholson at Silver Creek Realty was super helpful with any of our questions and she was very timely with all her responses. She went above and beyond to help since we were not in the area. She handled everything for us. Even after we purchased the home, she helped us with ordering appliances, and doing renovations. She made it easy for us to enjoy our time when we get up there. We highly recommend using Katie for any of your real estate needs!

I would like to express my sincere appreciation, for the assistance of Bambi Kaine in selling my house.  Thru her professionalism, kindness, patience, and the attention to details, she was  able help accomplish my goals.
