We were already homeowners in Cashiers, when we decided we loved it here so much we wanted to up-grade and buy another home. We had heard about Chuck, and called him to helps us in our search. We worked with Chuck for almost 3 years looking at many different properties each time we visited the area. We spent many days together and he was always available and willing to spend as much time as we desired. He advised, after viewing many houses, that to really get the home we wanted we should consider building. He contacted us in Florida last November about a lot he thought would fit our needs. Chuck is the best agent we ever worked with. Before we met him we gave him a list of houses we liked from Zillow. He gave us his insight on those properties and info about many others we might like. When we visited Highlands he spent the day with us driving all over the region to show us possibilities including houses in Highlands, Cashiers, Glenville and some areas very far out of town. He is very personable, which is helpful when you are spending hours in a car with someone. More importantly, he is very knowledgeable about the area and involved in the community. When we decided on a house that needed renovation, Chuck referred us to a contractor who we ultimately used, who is great. He also referred us to the lawyer who did our closing and made the whole pre-closing process manageable. He coordinated the survey, inspections and appraisal and even put us in touch with a mortgage broker. After we closed we have continued to stay in touch and consider him a family friend. He has come several times to our house to see the major renovations and we look forward to hosting him when we are done. I would recommend my closest friends and family to Chuck. He is truly outstanding in his job.
