Plateau Pursuits November 2011

Events CalendarOnce those beautiful orange, red and gold leaves have left the trees and Halloween is a distant memory marked by a trail of empty candy wrappers, thoughts begin turning to the holidays ahead. Up here in the mountains of Western North Carolina, a steady stream of cars will wind up the narrow steep streets in search of a relaxing weekend to recharge before the throngs of houseguests arrive. The farmers markets will be bustling as shoppers prepare for their traditional Thanksgiving dishes, and calendars will be filled with an endless string of holiday gatherings. Before the month of November comes to a close, neighbors will begin adorning their homes in holiday finery and twinkling lights, and our little slice of Heaven will become even more so with next months promise of Christmas cheer. Its no wonder why we love this place so, and thats why we invite you and your family to come experience this wonderful time of year on the Highlands-Cashiers Plateau. Book accommodations in historic Highlands or Cashiers, the lake towns of Glenville or Toxaway, or the popular resort destination of Sapphire Valley. Be forewarned, you may just fall in love with the area like so many families before you. If so, we at Silver Creek Real Estate Group welcome the chance to call you neighbor and help you unwrap one of the best holiday gifts youll ever receive the keys to the mountain retreat of your dreams! We look forward to seeing you up on the mountain this month.
